French or Creole Fluent Trauma Counselors

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and its partners are seeking qualified persons interested in offering emotional care/staff care for Haitian national staff engaged in development and disaster relief activities in Haiti who have been exposed to traumatic stress and an overwhelming emotional environment. We are compiling a database of such qualified parties for possible assignment in Haiti to work with PDA’s local and international partners.

Hospital St. Croix and the School of Nursing receive PDA grant

has asked that this news be shared:

Randy Ackley, Coordinator of The Presbyterian Disaster and Relief Ministry, (PDA) has just informed (The Governing Board of Hospital St. Croix) that a grant in the amount of $200,000 has been awarded to Ste. Croix Hospital and to the School of Nursing (FSIL).
The grant is designated for seven of eight requested items as follows:
